MPTF’s Veterans Benefits Assistance Program helps entertainment industry veterans, their surviving spouses, and their families obtain VA pension benefits that they are entitled to but may need help accessing. These military and entertainment industry veterans often are eligible for monthly financial support to cover basic living expenses, caregiving and many other critical needs; but they need help navigating the maze of VA paperwork to start that flow of benefits. MPTF’s social workers walk veterans and their families through the claims process every step of the way until benefit awards are received.
In the past year, MPTF has screened nearly 700 entertainment industry military veterans and their surviving spouses, helping them to collectively obtain over $200,000 in retroactive benefits plus additional ongoing monthly support. Please help us help a veteran by making a gift today.
